It never fails. As soon as something – an instrument, a sound, a look – becomes popular and trendy, everyone jumps on board. You see and hear the same thing over and over. The phenomenon happens all the time in the music industry, including with the DJ industry.
One DJ starts doing something really creative, different, and exciting, and practically every other DJ starts imitating that style and technique. Maybe they’re sincere in their desire to expand their DJ skills by learning this new technique or sound. Or maybe they’re just hoping to cash in on the trend.
