Can Everyone Really Be A DJ?
Last week, I told you about a new app that Pioneer has dropped called WeDJ. The gist of it is that literally anyone can DJ literally anywhere.
The question is whether this phenomenon is whether a good thing or not. Why shouldn’t everyone have the opportunity to play at being a DJ? But, I guess “play” is the operative word. Fooling around with mixing, creating playlists, and generally doing what DJs do with the help of an app can be a lot of fun. Don’t, however, mistake it for the real thing. I’ve said it before. DJing takes work, practice, dedication. Do you have it? Great.
