So, Pioneer is planning on dropping a new app. It’s called WeDJ, and it’s optimized for iPhone. Here’s the fun part: the app lets anyone with a phone and wifi to be a DJ. Like competing for gigs isn’t hard enough, right?
I’m just waiting for the debate to begin. Is this app going to kill DJing as we know it? Is it going to democratize the industry? Who knows. Should you care? I don’t know.
