Are you a social media aficionado? Do you log in to Twitter before you even have your first coffee? Ok, I admit it. I do that.
Social media has become the go-to place – whether its Twitter, Facebook, SnapChat, whatever – for sharing thoughts and venting feelings. But, here’s a word of warning: always think twice before posting anything.
Remember that great careers have ended thanks to a few words spread across the Internet. Before you say anything, even on email, put on your professional hat. Nothing is private. Even if you have your privacy settings configured fully, you can’t stop other people from taking a pic of your words and showing the world what you really think.
