Moby has done it all and lived to tell about it. Actually, he has not only lived to tell about it. Whatever he does seems to make him even more successful. Not bad for a vegan, Christian, EDM DJ.

Of course, it took him a while to get there, and he had to battle alcoholism and other demons along the way, too. Moby made it through the 1990s as one of “the most important dance music figures” of that decade. And he has no plans of stopping.

His book called Porcelain is all about his rise to fame and what he learned about the music industry along the way.  He also owns up about his mental health struggles because he wants to encourage other sufferers to find help and lead better lives. The book may be about him specifically, but it’s a great resource for DJs in general. Moby explains why DJs should listen to all kinds of genres, why they should take on as many gigs as possible, and why they should go to where the action is.

The book is available on Amazon. Or listen to a DJ on DJ interview … Shad talks to Moby:
