DJ Mustard Reveals His Big Dream
DJ Mustard may have just won the DJ of the Year award on Tuesday night at the 4th Annual Global Spin Awards, but he clearly has not checked everything off his bucket list yet. This guy wants to go mainstream. He wants to win a Grammy.
So, what does it take to do that? I’m not really joking when I suggest that he’ll need to cross over to the mainstream. Although DJ culture is huge, there’s something about the Grammy Awards that still caters to music that fits most closely within the boundaries of pop and Top 40.
Mustard’s goal, though, isn’t outside the realm of possibility. Bet.com reported yesterday that Mustard will be collaborating with Brittany Spears to produce a hit song. His work doesn’t end there. Mustard says he has a lot in the works right now with a lot of “really big artists”. But, if you’re wondering who he’s talking about, you’ll have to wait to see. He’s not revealing anything yet.
