A$AP Ferg and Skrillex Announce Something New

If you caught the SNL episode hosted by Tracy Morgan, he and his former 30 Rock colleagues made fun of the fact that Skrillex was huge … back in 2012.

Fast forward to now, and Skrillex is pretty determined not to go anywhere but to the top. Thanks to a collaboration with Justin Bieber, both of them are again the tastemakers they once were.

So, Skrillex must be thinking: why let a good thing end?

His answer is to collaborate again. The word is that he and A$AP Ferg are working on something together to be released at some point in the future. Sorry about how vague all this is. But, here’s what Ferg had to say about:

“I got a crazy joint with Skrillex, this ‘New Levels’ we’re gonna use to break the walls down for this new beginning, this new Trap Lord. I’m entering the Hood Pope now. I was the Trap Lord two years ago, I became the Hood Pope on y’all.”

Ok, if you understand any of that, maybe you can tell me what he means.
