Kendrick Lamar Has The President’s Ear
I guess this is the ultimate high for an artist – the President endorsing your song as his favorite hit of 2015. Some would say a Grammy nomination for Best Album of the Year is tops. But, yeah, this is pretty cool, too.
Turns out, Obama loves Kendrick Lamar’s “How Much A Dollar Cost?”
Lamar deserves the accolades. Having risen out of the depths of poverty, he used his talent and his smarts (he was a straight A student throughout school) to express his thoughts and emotions through the universal language that is music.
