40 DJs Get Together and Create Beautiful Music
Like a big band experience, when 40 DJs get together to jam, they create a depth of sound that we don’t often get to hear when only one or two DJs perform. Jazzy Jeff (who gets around), QBert, Z-Trip and Nu-Mark joined with 36 other DJs and Red Bull Music Academy to create an eight-minute mix.
These DJs who, under normal circumstances, produce music that can be stylistically different from each other. Yet, rather than devolve into noise, these artists listen to each other, taking cues and jumping in with their own creative solos.
