World’s Best Small Clubs
This morning I brought you the Top 100 list of the world’s top clubs, like Space Ibiza. I suggested that it would be great to land a gig at one of those clubs, too. No kidding, right? Anyway, back to reality, what is in the realm of the possible for many of us is the opportunity to play at a smaller club.
A small club not only typically has fewer square footage, it can also be lower in popularity. But, big deal. There’s a lot to be said for more intimate settings. The best thing about smaller clubs is that they typically serve the local market. That means that you’re likely to see local DJs spinning tunes that the local scene loves. That’s an awesome way to immerse yourself in a sense of place.
