DJ and producer Tiësto has been named The Greatest DJ Of All-Time by Mixmag. Even Rolling Stone weighed in on the matter claiming that he is the number one DJ on earth. Don’t forget, he also won a Lifetime Achievement Award.
With that kind of support, I have no doubt that Tiësto wakes up every morning to a series of executives knocking on his door wanting to partner with him. Whether or not you agree with Mixmag and Rolling Stone, you can’t deny that Tiësto sports a ton of influence. Any software or DJ equipment manufacturer would love to hook on to his momentum.
So, Denon DJ must be pinching itself like crazy today. The latest news is that Tiësto has chosen to use that company’s Prime Series SC5000 media player and X1800 club mixer on his tours.
