Should people who have a platform – like famous DJs – use that platform to put across a message that they feel is for the greater good? Some DJs have used their fame to talk about politics. Some have used their platform to rally behind a cause.
Steve Aoki comes from a background of activism, and his focus on various social injustices isn’t stopping despite his fame. He says:
