The World Is Full of Copycats
It’s just a given that if something … say EDM … is a hot seller, all kinds of people will be jumping on the bandwagon. Some of those people will be very talented, and all they need is a spark to ignite their creativity. Others, however, will be what DJ Demur calls copycats.
Copycats are those people in any industry who listen to the greats, then produce knock-offs of the hot sellers.
The latest issue comes courtesy of Demur who is claiming that EDM is rife with copycats, and he names Skrillex, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike as prime examples.
