DJ Rafik Showcases His Passion For Turntablism
It’s really cool when a company that produces equipment for DJs goes beyond the basics of writing (usually in point form) the ins and outs of their products on their websites. Sometimes a company will produce a video tutorial for DJs. That’s awesome.
There’s nothing like watching a pro use the equipment and explain the intricacies of the buttons, knobs and software in concise and easy-to-understand, everyday speak.
But, what I really like about Native Instruments is that they go beyond the typical company tutorial. They actually bring in real DJs to demonstrate the equipment. Their videos are like mini talk shows. They feature their products, great DJs and they interview the people who conceptualized the product.
Watch one of their videos and you come away with a better sense of what their product is like, how talented the DJs are, and where the state of DJ-ing stands right now.
