DJ Mag veered a bit from the norm this year when it named two DJs in its number one spot on its Top 100 poll. The DJs in question – Belgians Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike – were thrilled by the recognition. Like Mike happened to be in Amsterdam when he posted, “Than you for showing us to 1” on his twitter feed.
That’s not the only change to the list this year. Hardwell, Martin Garrix and Armin Van Buuren were also shifted out of their previous spots. The biggest change has to be Don Diablo who went up 52 places in the poll since last year. There were new entries to keep an eye on, too – Shogun, Tom Swoon and Will Sparks.
