Craig David’s Freestyle Wows Jack Ü
Thirty-four year old Craig David burst onto the music scene in 1999 on the single, “Re-Rewind” by Artful Dodger. Since then, his own work has netted him multiple Brit Award nominations as well as two Grammy Award nominations. Maybe this latest experiment will propel him onto greater things, even landing him a win, and especially since Diplo was so impressed by David’s rendition he invited him to “join Major Lazer for its show at London’s Alexandra Palace.”
Though typically linked to R&B, David wanted to prove his rapping chops, and did so recently with some freestyle on Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now”. Take a listen.
