A DJ Gives Advice To His 18 Year Old Self
When you’re just starting out as a DJ, it really doesn’t matter how much advice experienced DJs give you. You probably won’t be able to take it all in. More likely, you’ll listen to some tips. You’ll forget other tips. You’ll choose to ignore some, too.
It’s just a normal part of the learning process. You have to go through it in order to figure out who you are as a DJ and where you fit in.
At some point along the way, you’re going to look back at where you’ve been and wonder why you didn’t listen to all that advice you may have been given. If you could go back in time and make your younger DJ self listen, what advice would you give yourself?
