We’ve seen a lot of changes in DJ equipment over the past year. New mixers, new software. Some of it has been really helpful, and some of it … well … not so much.

Some of it may have been confusing. But all in all, one thing is clear. The DJing industry is here to stay. Even better, it’s improving constantly. Whether or not you believe that technology is making DJing too easy, the introduction of so many new products and integrations can only make the industry more accessible.

As a whole, we saw Serato DJ, Traktor Pro, and Rekordbox DJ maintain their hold on the market. While new introductions, like Ableton Link and Roland’s DJ-808, found themselves making in-roads fast.

What were your favorite products of the year? Which would you like to bury? Check out a more in-depth list of successes and fails here.
