Technics has long been a source of innovation. When new technology emerges from the inner sanctum of this company’s buildings, it tends to bring DJs that much closer to nirvana. Honestly, who doesn’t have at least a passing admiration for their turntables, headphones … you name it?

So, it was with a fair bit of interest that I read, in Digital DJ Tips that Technics has come out with yet another new technology that will make DJs’ lives easier.

The latest is a little device that they’ve installed in turntables that allows DJs to sync vinyl … any vinyl … all vinyl. It completely eliminates the need for any other software. Cool, right?

There’s only one drawback. As with any new technology, the first iteration is a bit pricey. This one is no different. Each turntable housing this new tech is going to cost you $4000! Start saving your pennies because it should come down in price soon. These things always do.

You can read more about it here.

And by the way, April Fools!
