LANDR introduced a quick and dirty mastering tool in the final months of 2014. Basically, it was an automated service that allowed DJs to upload and master a song.

More recently, Native Instruments and Serato jumped on board, and with that help LANDR can do a lot more than it could before. The latest incarnation allows creators to upload a whole set or playlist and master the whole thing.

None of this is free, of course. But, there is an option to try before you buy. The other question I have, though, is how many of you DJs out there would actually find this useful. You’re already working with professionally mastered material. How much more could this technology be of benefit to you?

Check out the Q & A with the LANDR team here.
