VirtualDJ Just Got Even Better!
The latest VirtualDJ Build 8615 is here, bringing smoother text input for Japanese and Chinese on Mac, new recording options, improved key info display for select services, and updated scratch quantization that syncs perfectly with other decks. Let’s break down what’s new!

NEW:

  • You can now use %weekday in the recording file name (great for organizing your sets!).
  • Added a new setting: recordPauseOnSilence – this pauses recording when there’s no sound.

FIXED:

  • Japanese and Chinese text input now works better on Mac.

IMPROVED:

  • When using iDJPool or VJPro, the key of the track is now shown.
  • quantizeScratch is now separate from quantize_all and syncs better with the other deck instead of syncing with itself.
