Jay Z Testifies in “Big Pimpin” Trial
This case has been in the works for over 4 years and apparently Hova had no idea there was a sample in the song.
The original song was made in 1957 by an Egyptian artist named Baligh Hamdy and the title of the track is “Khosara, Khosara”. Apparently it is one of Hamdy’s relatives that is proceeding with the law suite claiming that Jay Z’s song violates Hamdy’s moral rights according to Egyptian Law.
