A little while ago, I wrote about what performers at Woodstock earned vs the top DJs today.
Apparently, Graham over at Wunder Ground took issue with the DJs listed. His argument? Well, he doesn’t actually think that people like Calvin Harris, Steve Aoki and David Guetta are actually true DJs.
Oh, sure, they do what DJs do and own a whole lot of expensive DJ equipment, but Graham’s argument is that their talent leaves a lot to be desired. He feels the DJ industry, with its king-maker producers, stereotypes and financial backers, doesn’t allow DJs with real talent to be promoted.
