Sometimes we look back on our lives and the decisions we’ve made and wish there’d been someone there to give us some advice or inform us of a different point of view. If only that had been there, we tell ourselves, I would’ve made a different decision.

Well, I don’t really put a lot of stock into that kind of thinking. I believe that we make the decisions we make based on the best information we have available at the time. There’s no point in dwelling on what might have been. Everything happens for a reason.

So, it’s for that reason that I’m giving you more information than you might have had up to now regarding the future. Not just any future. I’m talking about your future as a DJ.

Ask yourself how long you plan on working as a DJ. When do you think you’ll likely retire? What can you look forward to when that day comes?
