Taso has just released a new EP called Cold Heat Vol. 1 that’s about to make a lot of people very happy.
You may remember that Taso is a member of Teklife – that legendary footwork crew that helped popularize the sound and dance moves that eventually came to be called “footwork“.
One of Taso’s music partners at the time was DJ Rashad who died in 2014. Rashad was long a prominent footwork producer. Taso and Rashad also worked with DJ Spinn, who continues to create and add to the genre.
So, after all that, why is Taso’s new album going to make a lot of people happy? It’s because he’s included a previously unreleased track called “Nothin’s Gonna Stop Me” that he made with both Rashad and Spinn in 2013.
