RIAA: Streaming Sales Count!
It looks like Rihanna’s blunder with Anti may have spawned a positive ripple effect.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has just acknowledged what everyone else already knew – that streaming counts.
It has just decided to “count streaming sales as part of its singles and albums certification process” (Vulture.com).
