Rekordbox Update Fixes Critical Problems
Pioneer DJ has been listening to DJs. It just released Rekordbox version 4.2.0b. This update is actually a patch that fixes issues causing the software to crash when its used with a CDJ/XDJ player.
Rekordbox 4.2.0 was literally just released last week. I would’ve hoped that the problems could’ve been addressed before the product was released on unsuspecting DJs. But, unfortunately, given the speed of innovation and marketing these days, that’s just how it’s done.
In any case, if you’ve already downloaded the latest update, this patch will put your mind at ease. If you haven’t yet, you might consider holding off until any other errors have been identified and fixed.
