Jam Master Jay’s Murder Is Now A Cold Case
Fifteen years ago yesterday, Jam Master Jay was in a New York recording studio laying down some tracks. Two individuals were allowed into the studio. One hugged Jay just before gunshots were fired. Four people were hurt that night, while Jay died from a point-blank shot to the head.
Despite the fact that multiple people were in the studio at the same time and in close range of Jay, not one person has come forward with information about who the assailants were and why Jay became a target.
Since that night, no new leads have been reported, and the case is now filed as a cold case.
