Datsik Is Top Of The … Country Charts!

Troy Beetles, aka Datsik, has long been a well-known name in the electronic music industry. He’s a popular producer/DJ of dubstep, especially. But, did you know he’s also a rising country music star?

Well, no, he’s not … not really, anyway. But, a couple of weeks ago, Soundcloud had him listed at #5 and #8 on its country music charts. Imagine the reaction of a poor country music aficionado clicking on that link! Any expectations of a Garth Brooks sound-alike would be blown away within a few short bars.

Anyway, it looks like Soundcloud might be encountering some technical issues. Though they don’t seem to have fixed the problem yet. Datsik’s at #12 this week.
