Let me ask you a personal question: how much money have you spent on gear this year?

If you can keep your money in your wallet most of the time, you’re doing really well because, I’ll tell you, it’s hard to do when all you see is DJ eye candy. Ads for new equipment and software really do work. They make me want to buy the latest and greatest. Don’t worry, though. I’m pretty good at stopping myself before I plunk down any plastic.

Then, there’s the question of whether or not I really even need more stuff. But, I’m not going there now. Where’s the fun in looking at new stuff if you can’t drool over it?

The reality is that most of us want stuff, but can’t always justify spending a pile of money on new gear. So, here’s an option: buy used. I’ve already written about how to buy used gear. It’s a great option for anyone regardless of whether or not you can afford new. But, I came across an article on used turntables that I thought you’d love.

Here are the 5 used turntables:

  • Pro-Ject Debut Series
  • Technics SL1200
  • Rega Planar 3/P3/RP3
  • VPI Scout
  • Linn LP12

Check out more about eachΒ here, and let me know which turntable you’d love to have.
