In previous years, we were seeing a decline in music revenues, especially for artists.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/spotify-sued-for-1-6-billion\/\">Spotify is leading the way<\/a> in growth with &#8220;more than 140 million active users and more than 50 million paying subscribers.&#8221; New technology, like Stationhead that allows anyone to listen to radio from their smartphones, has helped increase Spotify&#8217;s popularity.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond streaming, it looks like artists are booking more shows, and more people are buying tickets and heading out to see those artists.
