He made his mark through the 1990s with remixes of &#8220;Professional Widow&#8221; by Tori Amos, and by sampling Tara McDonald&#8217;s &#8220;Comin&#8217; Apart&#8221; and Carrie Lucas&#8217; &#8220;You Don&#8217;t Know Me&#8221;. He&#8217;s collaborated with A-Trak, Dizzee Rascal, Steve Aoki, and many others.<\/p>\n<p>Van Helden was interviewed recently by\u00a0<em>InTheMix<\/em> and revealed his thoughts on a whole range of topics. Most notably, he talked about how much harder it was to DJ through the &#8217;90s than it is now. He says that DJs had to spend so much time <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/pro-tip-organize-your-smart-crates\/\">digging through their crates<\/a> that they never interacted with the crowd.
