It will be great news for DJs who work at those clubs. Instead of having to end your night by 2 am, you might be able to increase your rates and play all night. Clubs that stay open, but stop serving alcohol, after the current 2 am last call, might also see an increase in the crowd that hangs around.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Might&#8221; is the operative word here. None of this has yet been passed into law. There&#8217;s also no guarantee that it will be.<\/p>\n<p>But while you wait, consider this. In non-residential areas of Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, and Japan, there is no last call. You can have a drink at any time at all during the day or night. In most other jurisdictions, the time of last call can vary from midnight to 4 am depending on what the local community can tolerate.<\/p>\n<p>Some people argue that extending the last call will only encourage people to drink too much.
