That&#8217;s\u00a0when things get hairy.<\/p>\n<p>DJs love to copy other DJs&#8217; mixes, and everything&#8217;s great &#8230; until it&#8217;s their own mixes that are being copied. I get all the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/dj-drama-explains-the-history-of-the-mixtape\/\">copyright and payment issues<\/a>. Those truly are legitimate concerns. But, there&#8217;s another aspect to copying each others&#8217; work that&#8217;s actually really positive.<\/p>\n<p>Listening to, and using, other people&#8217;s work actually helps us become more creative. Most of us use other DJs&#8217; work to inspire our own work.
