He was talked into signing a record deal. We never actually find out why it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/heres-what-youd-tell-your-younger-self\/\">turned out so badly<\/a> for him. But, the warning stands.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the Secret DJ wants us all to remember that labels, especially the major ones, really are in it for themselves. Don&#8217;t be fooled into thinking you&#8217;re the Next Big Thing. Ok, you might be. But, don&#8217;t take it from the label guys.
