And all the important bits about what not to say or do on social media? Yeah, well &#8230; it looks like someone at SoundCloud took to social media with an announcement before checking whether that would be a wise move.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, we reported that SoundCloud would allow DJs to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/soundcloud-changes-policy-on-dj-mixes\/\">upload mixes<\/a> without any fear of consequences. Up until then, you were likely to have the music removed or, in the worst case, have your account shut down.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out that the announcement coming from one of SoundCloud&#8217;s founders really was too good to be true. I guess he should have checked with the company&#8217;s lawyers before going public.<\/p>\n<p>SoundCloud will be upholding copyright laws with some exceptions. Now, the company is stating that it won&#8217;t shut take music off the site unless there&#8217;s a complaint against it.<\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of questions that remain around this issue, and SoundCloud isn&#8217;t going out of its way to be forthcoming with answers.
