To us, the next 10 years is all about enabling these artists to make a living out of their music, and connect them with a new audience. Today, our users say &#8216;introduce me to new music&#8217;. What the artists say is &#8216;help me find my audience&#8217;. Essentially, that&#8217;s two sides of the same coin.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The reason that Ek&#8217;s comment is sparking rumors of a Spotify-SoundCloud takeover is because SoundCloud boasts a larger variety and number of artists than Spotify. There&#8217;s also been news that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/sources-close-to-soundcloud-say-they-are-running-low-on-cash\/\">SoundCloud needs a cash infusion<\/a>.
