In fact, he&#8217;s actually going on his 16th year at Eden, Ibiza. So, I guess when he <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/discrimination-in-the-dj-industry\/\">passes judgement on the state of DJing<\/a>, he knows something about it.<\/p>\n<p>Jules talks about the changes in equipment \u2013 &#8220;The emergence of Pioneer&#8217;s CDJ-500 back in 1995 was a glimpse of what to expect in the future.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He comments on the crowds that DJs play to have changed \u2013 &#8220;There&#8217;s no denying that dance music has gone mainstream.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jules even talks about production \u2013 &#8220;Production levels for DJ [stage] sets have changed in every way imaginable, to the point that DJs are now playing on sets that would have been reserved for rock stars in the past.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>About promotion, he suggests \u2013 &#8220;I think it&#8217;s safe to say that this has changed completely.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And about cost, too \u2013 &#8220;This industry is now people&#8217;s livelihoods.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Read the whole interview with Judge Jules <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicradar.com\/news\/dj\/judge-jules-delivers-his-verdict-on-the-state-of-djing-in-2016-639508\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"post-excerpt\">Judge Jules has been around for a little while.
