You know, one of the few who actually managed to buy a new Technics SL-1200 turntable?<\/p>\n<p>I wrote about it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/the-new-technics-sl-1200-turntable-costs-how-much\/\">here<\/a> when we first heard Technics was going to release this new turntable. The new model went on sale first in Japan &#8230; and 30 minutes later &#8230; it was over. All in-stock models sold. If you balked at the $4000 price tag, you&#8217;re in the minority. Obviously, enough people (at least in Japan) were willing to pay the equivalent of about $3300 per unit. Wouldn&#8217;t you love to know\u00a0how many people bought more than one unit? I would. Keep your eye on re-sale sites.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t worry, though. Your chance of picking one of these up isn&#8217;t completely dead, although it is slim. Panasonic will be releasing just 900 more turntables for international sales &#8230; eventually.<\/p>\n<p>Do you think this model is worth the wait, or the money?
