Mixes are, by nature, a medley of previously licensed music. Playing them would basically be breaking to law. The musicians who created the original music wouldn&#8217;t be credited in any meaningful way (read: paid). The sound of contracts breaking would sound in every entertainment lawyers&#8217; ears.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, Dubset Media has found a legal way around all of this. They have actually invented a technology called MixBank that will analyze every bit of a mix file and identify the recordings.
