Women are almost never mentioned in conversations about electronic dance music, and mainstream hip hop &#8230; well, unfortunately that&#8217;s still an area that insists on reducing both women and men to stereotypical shadows of who they really are.<\/p>\n<p>Women bring a different sensibility to a DJ gigs. But, what doesn&#8217;t change is that, like men, they care about the music and their audience.
