As our tribute to Throwback Thursday, we offer you Herbie Hancock &#8230; at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/the-grammys\/\">Grammys<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The year was 1984. Hancock picked up the Grammy for Best R&amp;B Instrumental. Bridging his background in jazz and the early hip hop that was nascent in the clubs at the time, Hancock wowed the audience with his live playing of &#8220;Rock it&#8221;.
