I was never a huge Bowie fan. In fact, I can&#8217;t really say that much of his catalogue resonated with me. Yet, there&#8217;s no denying his mammoth impact on all the arts. his curiosity and influence will probably not come along again for a very long time. That&#8217;s the heartbreaking part.<\/p>\n<p>The songs that emerged during his late &#8217;60s\/ &#8217;70s period \u2013 like &#8220;Golden Years&#8221;, &#8220;Young Americans&#8221;, &#8220;Changes&#8221;, &#8220;Space Oddity&#8221; and of course &#8220;Ziggy Stardust&#8221; \u2013 were the ones that continue to mean the most to me.<\/p>\n<p>If you think his death doesn&#8217;t matter, you should pay closer attention to the music you&#8217;re listening to. His influence can be felt in everything. Even hip hop.<\/p>\n<p>Have a second listen to these and see if you can pick out his contributions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>P.
