With rekordbox DJs have the ability to place 3 hot cues on their tracks that can be triggered from CDJs such as the Pioneer CDJ-2000 Nexus and the XDJ-1000. However the cue points aren\u2019t available immediately upon loading the track on the CDJ. The hot cues need to be \u201cCalled\u201d using the Rec\/Call button on the CDJs to load them onto the hot cue buttons, and there\u2019s a slight delay while triggering them.<\/p>\n<p>To solve this problem you can enable \u201cAuto HotCue Load\u201d in rekordbox. This will automatically load the 3 hot cues onto the CDJ and allow them to be triggered immediately without delay. This can be set for individual tracks (right-click -> Show Information -> go to \u201cInfo\u201d tab and make sure \u201cAllow to auto load HotCue on CDJ\u201d is checked) or applied automatically to your entire collection.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rekordbox.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rekordbox.jpg\" alt=\"rekordbox\" width=\"593\" height=\"291\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rekordbox.jpg 593w, https:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/rekordbox-300x147.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 593px) 100vw, 593px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Secondary Info Column On CDJs<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Second-Column-640x360.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Second-Column-640x360.jpg\" alt=\"Second-Column-640x360\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3722\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Second-Column-640x360.jpg 640w, https:\/\/www.mp3poolonline.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Second-Column-640x360-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Playlists on CDJs can display a second column of information alongside the track name. By default rekordbox has this option disabled so the only thing that\u2019s visible is the track name on the CDJs. There are numerous tags that can be displayed in the second column: Comments, Artist, BPM, Key, Color etc.<\/p>\n<p>This makes it easier to find tracks that are harmonically compatible or choose tracks that are similar in Color if you use that feature to organize your music.  To choose the tag that\u2019s displayed in the second column open Rekordbox and go to \u201cPreferences\u201d. Then go to the \u201cCDJ\u201d tab and click \u201cColumn\u201d and choose your preferred tag.
