Pro Tip: Serato and Traktor DJ Gear with Rekordbox DJ

New software is both the stuff of DJ dreams and nightmares. It’s hard not to get excited about all the possible improvements a company might have made on its new software. Then again, we all know what problems can emerge from new software – disappearing playlists, settings that have to all be re-configured, frustrating glitches.

Marc Santaromana over at DJ Tech Tools has paired Serato and Traktor with Rekordbox DJ. He’s found a way to get around incompatibility issues and, in doing so, is trying to save DJs from having to spend even more money on new gear.
