When you’re just starting out as a DJ, all you really need is some very basic equipment. A turntable, headphones, some records, and a laptop or some combination like that will do you just fine. But once you’ve mastered some techniques and you’re ready to start playing events, you might find that you need to sink a lot more money into DJing.
