From the “D’uh” file comes a story published first in Youredm.com. The article is based on a study that Sonos and Apple Music conducted. They asked 30,000 participants about “their behaviors and tendency to listen to music at home.”

The results of the study will surprise no one, especially not DJs. Wait for it … listening to music leads to intimacy.

“Participants … [felt] … 15% less hostile during the weeks with music … [and] … 24% less irritable.” Hmm, maybe if drivers listened to more music in their cars, there would be fewer incidents of road rage.

I wonder if the type of music you listen to affects how you feel. You know, a few Barry White classics vs Metallica might make a bit of difference in mood, don’t you think?
