Serato has teamed up with Roland to help DJs and music producers bridge the gap between their respective art forms. Serato Studio was released earlier this year and when speaking with Artist Relations representative OP, he mentioned that an intention of the DAW was to decrease the learning curve to create music – opening the doors for many DJs who may have been interested in music production but were hesitant to learn an entirely new program. Serato Studio has done just that and has recently reinforced this idea by paring up with Roland; a company that was previously focused on instrumentation and dove into the DJ industry with its flagship DJ-808 controller in 2016.

It makes perfect sense that these companies are crossing paths, and to make things better Serato is giving users that purchase a Roland DJ 808, 505, 0r 202, a three-month license to Serato Studio. Roland released the DJ 808 line of controllers to provide a production workstation integrated in a DJ setup like never before. Now with the software backing of Serato Studio, the production power of the Roland controllers is bound to be even greater. If you have been on the fence about either diving into DJing or picking up music production, then you are in luck!

Serato is giving away a huge prize pack with everything you need to start mixing and making music. Head on over to their Instagram and enter to win a Roland DJ 202 Controller, Roland A300Pro Keyboard, V-Moda headphones, Serato DJ Suite and a 12-month license to Serato Studio!
