Engine DJ v4.2.0 brings Stems rendering to Engine DJ devices, enabling Stems creation while also delivering enhanced stability and performance.

NEW

  • Stems can now be rendered for later playback directly on Engine DJ devices.
  • You can create Stems by adding tracks or playlists to the Stems list or by right-clicking a track and selecting “Create Stems.”
  • Stems rendering is enabled through a one-time in-app download during first use.
  • Once rendered, Stems are included when packing tracks via Sync Manager or using Drag and Drop.
  • Stems playback is currently supported on the Prime 4+, with compatibility for additional Numark and Denon DJ hardware coming soon.

FIXED

  • Resolved an issue where force ejecting a drive during song packing could lead to Engine DJ crashing (note: force ejecting may still risk database corruption and is not advised).
  • Various other stability enhancements and general improvements.
