- Having access to thousands of songs won’t produce amazing mixes.
- Relying on sync won’t solve all your beatmatching issues.

- Playing the most popular hits won’t make you a popular DJ.
- Not playing the most popular hits at all will also kill your popularity.
- Overusing fx is only fun for beginners.
- Dancing behind the decks only works if it makes your set better.
- Social media is king, but having lots of likes doesn’t make you a great DJ.
What will make you great?
- Know who you are, what you like, and what you’re good at.
- Know your audience.
- Practice, practice, practice.
